Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 16, 2026 · Applies to vetrade.unceasingimpex.com
Vetrade is a supplier and buyer verification service operated by Unceasing Impex, an Indian import-export business. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our web platform or WhatsApp verification bot. Please read it carefully.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you register or log in, we collect your Indian mobile phone number. We use a one-time password (OTP) sent via SMS or WhatsApp for authentication — we do not store your OTP. We may also collect your full name, company name, company type, and industry during onboarding, which you provide voluntarily.
1.2 Verification Input Data
When you run a verification, you may provide the following information about a third party (supplier or buyer) that you are checking:
- Company or trading name
- GSTIN (GST Identification Number)
- IEC (Import Export Code)
- CIN (Company Identification Number)
- Website URL
- Country of business
- Payment terms or order context (optional)
This data is used solely to run verification checks on your behalf and to generate a trust report. It is associated with your account for your own reference and history.
1.3 Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you use Vetrade, including: pages visited, features used, verification history, timestamps, and error logs. We may also collect your IP address, browser type, and device identifiers for security and analytics purposes.
1.4 WhatsApp Messages
If you use the Vetrade WhatsApp bot, your messages are received and processed via Twilio (our messaging infrastructure provider). The content of your verification requests is stored in our database so your history is accessible on the web dashboard. Standard WhatsApp message metadata (timestamps, message IDs) is also retained.
1.5 Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers. We do not store your card numbers, bank details, or UPI credentials on our servers. We retain subscription status, plan type, and transaction reference IDs for billing records.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected for the following purposes:
- To authenticate you and maintain your account securely
- To run verification checks against third-party data sources on your behalf
- To generate and display trust reports and AI-powered risk summaries
- To send verification results via WhatsApp or the web interface
- To maintain your verification history and dashboard
- To enforce monthly usage limits based on your subscription plan
- To improve the accuracy and reliability of our verification engine
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access
- To send important service announcements (not marketing without consent)
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Data Sources We Query
Vetrade aggregates information from the following external data sources to perform verifications. We query these sources on your behalf — we do not control their content, availability, or accuracy.
4. Data Accuracy and Limitations
Important: Vetrade sources data from government portals and public web sources. This data reflects information available at the time of the query and may not be current, complete, or accurate. Government databases may be delayed, temporarily unavailable, or contain errors. Vetrade's output should be used as a starting point for due diligence — not as a substitute for it.
We make no representation that information returned from any third-party source is accurate, up-to-date, or fit for any particular commercial purpose. Errors may arise from:
- Government API delays or downtime
- Recently updated registrations not yet reflected in public databases
- Different or outdated company names across data sources
- AI-generated summaries that may misinterpret signals
- Social media or news results that may relate to a different entity with a similar name
- Incomplete data provided by the person requesting verification
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers (Supabase, Twilio, Anthropic, payment processors) solely to deliver the service
- When you explicitly share a verification report link with a third party
- If required by law, court order, or lawful government authority in India
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Unceasing Impex, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you)
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, which is hosted on AWS. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS / TLS encryption for all data in transit
- JWT-based authentication with expiring tokens
- HTTP-only, Secure cookies for session management
- Row-level access controls — users can only access their own data
- No storage of OTP codes or raw passwords
No system is completely secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Verification reports and history are retained for a minimum of 12 months to support your record-keeping. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
Cached signal data (e.g., GST check results) may be retained for up to 30 days to reduce redundant API calls and improve performance. WhatsApp session state is cleared after each completed verification or after 24 hours of inactivity.
8. Your Rights
Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), and applicable rules, you have the following rights:
- Right to access the personal data we hold about you
- Right to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Right to erasure of your personal data (subject to legal obligations)
- Right to withdraw consent for optional data processing
- Right to know about automated decisions that significantly affect you
- Right to nominate a person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@semperworks.com. We will respond within 30 days of receiving a valid request.
9. Cookies and Tracking
Vetrade uses essential cookies required for the service to function, specifically a session cookie (tp_token) that maintains your login session. This cookie is HTTP-only and Secure — it cannot be read by JavaScript and is transmitted only over HTTPS.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce optional analytics in the future, we will request your consent separately.
10. Children's Privacy
Vetrade is intended for use by trade professionals and business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. International Data Transfers
Our service providers (Supabase, Twilio, Anthropic) may process data outside India. By using Vetrade, you consent to your data being processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than India. We ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place with our service providers.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law, notify you via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of Vetrade after the effective date of a revised policy constitutes acceptance of its terms.
